FAQ

1

What is the Adult 7-Level Series about??

Because of the strict student to teacher ratio, we are only able to make-up up to 3 classes missed for "10-month program" enrollees only at the end of the schoolyear and only for illness or family emergencies. We don't pro rate for absences and weather cancellations. if the studio has to cancel due to personal reasons and not able to get a subsitute, we credit you for the said class.

What happens if I miss a class?

Our sewing program is for  6 years old above.  However, please make sure that a child can read independently and has a good span of attention.

2

What ages do you teach?

The regular classes are $85/month (99 for month-to-month) for kids and $99/month ($125/month for month-to-month) for adults plus a one time per year registration fee of $50 to reserve your spot and to cover sewing books, patterns, etc (For Kids Classes only).  Materials for the projects such as fabrics and notions are not included.

3

How much do the classes cost? And does this include materials?

We specialize in independent fabric designers and harder to find small companies – mostly we get our fabrics right from the designers!

Where do your fabrics and patterns come from?

First month tuitions and registation fees are NON-refundable.  Workshops are on a case to case basis and will be specified on each as you sign up.

What is your refund policy?

The third member of the family to enroll will only pay $60/month for tuition.  Maximum of $125 per families for registration fees.

Do you give sibling/family discount?

I'm a total beginner, are there pre-requisites to take one of the classes?

All of our classes were specifically put together for total beginners.  Advanced sewists still take our classes to fill in some gaps.  Our program is very detailed that we ask to call us first to see which level they should join in.

What is the return policy on the items you sell?

Fabrics that we had freshly cut for you are not eligible for return.

Notions and Patterns can be if they are still in their original packaging unopened and can still go back to our shelf for reselling with a 25% restocking fee.  Sewing Machines only when defective.  Change of heart will incur a 25% restocking fee and must be sealed and unopened.

I just want to make this specific pattern/project and not want to enroll in any of the classes offered, is this possible?

Our goal is to teach skills not projects.  And this could not be made possible if we are going to be like "books on videos".  However, from time to time we allow students to do a private class specifically for the project they want. Quick workshops are also given when the schedule allows.
